Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log a dish?

Tap the chef hat button in the center of the bottom tab bar. Add photos, a dish name, and optionally import a recipe using a link, a photo of a recipe, or AI detection.

Can I edit a dish after logging it?

Yes! Open any dish you've logged, tap the menu icon, and select Edit. You can change photos, the recipe, tags, and all other details.

How do I follow other users?

Search for users in the Search tab. Tap their profile and press Follow. Once they accept your request, their dishes will appear in your feed.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your dishes are only visible to people you've accepted as followers. Your profile name and avatar are visible to all users. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including dishes, photos, and comments.

The app crashed or something isn't working

Please email us at support@fava-cook.com with a description of what happened. If possible, include a screenshot. We'll investigate and get back to you.
